upstairs windows in

Went past this arvo upstairs windows going in and carpenters pulling down the alfresco and garage trusses (which weren't meant to be put up when they did them as it means scaffolding cant be put up...a mistake we knew about a few weeks ago) hebel on the bottom storey still only half finished am unsure as to when scaffolding is due to arrive but think the first floor hebel needs to be finished first.
Getting there slowly

hebel - day 4

So after 4 days (though yesterdays weather meant no activity on site) this is what we have so far...

Sunday 22 September 2013

Wrap + Hebel delivery

Today saw bottom storey mostly wrapped went I went past, and we saw the hebel truck arrive as we left so we went back around to take another pic so here is a bunch

in order
1. PT STudio looking through wall to family
2. master bed
3. Out front
4. Out Rear
5. Hebel delivery :)

work is happening on our next door neighbours site too - am assuming they will be in before us, aswell as another one across the street, which on leaves 3 other sites in our direct vicinity and hoping most are started/finished by when we are too selfish I know but would mean less trucks parked out front etc...

Schedule

Rain made for poo piccys...

Roof looks finished and had our as promised wed phone call from SS, he has had the overhang issue fixed already and met the framer on site to go over the issues from the report that need attention, the framer will be back on weekend to fix up.

Hebel is booked for delivery on Monday :) so that should be started next Tuesday he said...

Will keep driving by but not sure if we will have many pics of change till then mum :P

The blue dusk and ironstone colours seem to go well together as the blue is so grey its hard to tell its actually blue :) which is what we had thought would be the case.

Monday 9 September 2013

Windows :)

Heaps of pics to follow but 1st floor windows are now in aswell as 3/4 external doorframes.

Garage, Alfresco and Balcony started - some they cant do till the walls are up, a they have to take down a few roof trusses as they have built too close for them to get in to install hebel panels etc - poor guys I guess at least they are learning lots this build...

2nd - Left hand view of house
3rd - Kitchen Reveal Window
4th - Alfresco + back windows + laundry doorframe
5th - Entry doorframe with rice paper glazing

the scaffolding guys had arrived when I was there yesterday so I will go check out today whats happening :)

Tuesday 3 September 2013

Week 5 - more frames

So we had a slow week - but yesterday saw some of this

front of house

rear of house and alfresco area

watching the fellas work while the kids play at the park on our street.

Will have more pics tomorrow too as this afternoon they started putting up the roof trusses which means we should have some good action on the roof next week too. We did have a few mistakes made (missing door frames in one wall and doorframe in wrong spot for WIL) but I let them know and they have fixed them up and hoping everything comes up ok with the inspector, which cost extra but am glad I am paying for it to be honest.
